The Brand:

The name of the brand came from our co-founder's professor from the top 3 university in China after his master's degree and successful thesis defence. He had written about the effect on consumer spending of the pain we face during payment using different payment methods.

When we use cash, cheques, credit cards or a smartphone, we perceive that transaction differently which leads us to not feel as much of parting with our money in some of the payment methods compared to others.

Before we digress, the professor said, "congratulations, as you now go into world as a graduate, there will be a lot of opportunties for you out there, but how will you decide on what opportunity to pursue? Whatever you decide to do with the skills and knowledge you have now, make sure you "Do Something meaningful"".

The Spirit of the Brand:

This was after a period of a lot of self-discovery through independence, getting feedback from colleagues, and taking personality tests [OCEAN]. Discovering that he was high in openness and conscientiousness and also enjoyed starting new projects from scratch, much like tilling the land to sow seeds, just like an ox, he loves to explore new grounds and to see seeds germinate and grow into trees.

This is something meaningful, leaving the world planted and populated when you found it bare and empty.

The Similitudes:

The purple is for royalty because doing something meaningful is reserved for the ones with a kingdom mentality, people who see their actions as having an impact beyond themselves but on the rest of the world.

The shield is from the protection that comes from meaningful work. Doing something meaningful comes with joy [emotional security] and wealth [financial security].
